To solve these traffic congestion problems, the Peter Malouf Team is committed to:

​

• carry out a traffic engineering and road safety study to improve VMR's multimodal transport network

​​

• improve the incentives needed to increase active mobility

​​

• revise the Master Plan adopted in 2017.

​​

• adopt a coordination plan with our neighboring cities and the government authorities concerned in order to have a global vision of traffic issues

​​

• require that any major new construction project presented include a traffic impact study and a plan of mitigation measures

​

• increase the visibility of the public security service in key places (schools, recreation center, library)

​​

• re-establish a Jasper / Lazard pedestrian crossing over the REM to protect the safety of students and residents and ensure mobility between sectors.

The revised urban plan of the Peter Malouf Team will take into account aspects of the city as a whole, all so essential to the well-being of the municipality in order to guarantee and preserve our quality of life.
